This was my 3rd year presenting Adobe Visual Communicator at the 5th annual Erie 1Digital Wave Conference March 2009.JPG BOCES Digital Wave conference in West Seneca, NY.

Over 50 teachers, administrators, and tech coordinators were on hand to witness just how easy and affordable implementing a "green screened" school TV program can be for any classroom or school.  Many were new to this concept, but a few had approached me at the end, thanking me for turning them on to this concept last year and the year before.  It's great to hear you've made an impact in past years, and even better knowing that Visual Communicator is reaching more and more kids in schools across our region.

New this year was my new AskMrZblog.com site for educational users of Adobe Visual Communicator, and also the getting started package bundles that JourneyEd has worked so well with me on getting online.  For under $800, you get a package deal that includes VC3 software along with Adobe Premiere and PhotoShop Elements 7 software, giving you all the tools you need to create and edit any sort of project, along with a camcorder, training dvds, tripod, cables, mic, greenscreen, you name it!  Now I feel this package deal will simplify the acquisition piece for teachers to get started easily.  More details to come on this getting started concept in the coming months...

It was a great experience as a presenter, and looking forward to it again next year!  I realized that I should have proposed another presentation for use of SchoolTube.com too!
